Rebecca continued as Madame Giry, the role she originated in Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular. This new production of the smash show, at The Venetian Hotel and Casino, reunited Spencer with Broadway legend Harold Prince. The Las Vegas Review Journal named Phantom the Top New Production on the Strip, raving"There's lots of talent on display at 'Phantom -- The Las Vegas Spectacular,' but the person I can never stop watching is Rebecca Spencer.”
Rebecca debuted her full length concert program as part of the Performing Arts Society of Nevada's Brown Bag Concert Series, joined by her Musical Director and pianist Philip Fortenberry, as well as cellist Moonlight Tran in a program built around her two recordings.
Rebecca was a featured guest soloist in benefit concert performances of God Lives in Glass, composed by Keith Thomspon, along with members of the "Broadway West" community, uniting the casts of Mama Mia, The Producers, Spamalot, and Phantom-The Las Vegas Spectacular.
Rebecca continued to perform regularly as part of the Composers Showcase, each month in Las Vegas, featuring new works created by performers and artists from the Strip's productions.
Rebecca was one of the stars of Heaven in Your Pocket at the 2008 New York Musical Theatre Festival.
